2024 Open Day with TT-Club meeting on

 

It's almost that time again: On June 15, 2024 we will welcome you in Sebnitz to this year's TILLIG-TT Club meeting with our open day. Below you will find all the important information about what to expect from us.

Workshop with assembly class 212 (only for TT-club members):

he assembly of the workshop kit is always an important highlight of the club meeting for many.

Please note the following:

Tools: If you didn't order our tool set (500998), please don't forget to bring the right tools for assembling your workshop locomotive. You will need: Three screwdrivers (Torx5/cross-recess size 0/slot 0.3 mm) and pointed tweezers.

The workshop will take place in our company dining room (see station D in the map above). Please remember to pick up the ordered kit (at the TILLIG office) in good time before your workshop. This is possible from 9 a.m. An important note in this context: When picking up at the beginning of the event, please give priority to all those participants who take part in the first workshop at 10 a.m. The kits can be picked up throughout the day.

If you have registered for the workshop, please check whether your club number is included in the list. If you have any questions or if you cancel, please let us know (by email: tt-club@tillig.com or on the club hotline (035971/535-16, Tuesday 3-6pm).

Reception of the club models (for TT-club members):

The 2024 exclusive models and the workshop locomotive kits are issued in the office on the TILLIG company premises (see station B on the map above) on Lange Straße/Promenade.

Please note the following important information:

If you have ordered the models from your specialist retailers, we request you pick them up there. The models are delivered to the specialist retailers briefly following the club meeting. At the club meeting, please only purchase models that you would ADDITIONALLY like to have.

• The free annual models as well as the TT catalogue

As in the past few years you will be able to receive your free annual models as well as the TT catalogue for 2024/2025 from your specialist retailer in the autumn (around mid October). These services will thus not be provided at the club meeting.

The payment of the club models shall be made according to the terms of payment stored by us. For instance, if we have your SEPA direct debit mandate, we will deduct the sum from your account shortly after the club meeting. All the other club members shall receive the models in return for payment in cash or card payment (EC / credit cards).

We are at your disposal at the information point (see Station M) for all information, questions and suggestions about your TILLIG TT Club.

The model railway gallery awaits you:

On this day we offer everyone free entry to our museum, including our special exhibition "How a model is created". There will again be discussions with our management in the seminar room on the upper floor of the gallery. In the shop of our gallery you can get items from our TILLIG range as well as products from many accessory manufacturers. All older Club models that are still available are also offered here. Special sale (until 5 p.m.):

The special sale will again take place in a tent in the company yard (see point O on the location sketch above). Here you can get special spare parts, remaining stock and used exhibition models. Since the special sale has always been very popular in recent years, we urge you to observe our information on the Corona situation (see below).

Spare Parts:

Unfortunately, our customer service cannot open this time due to the limited space. You can pre-order spare parts (by 7 June 2024 at the latest by email to kundendienst@tillig.com) and then pick them up at station T (see map above).

Company tours:

In addition to a tour of our production facilities in the toolmaking, plastic injection moulding and decoration departments, you will once again be able to take away some of our products this year: As a souvenir of this event, we will be producing parts in the plastic injection moulding shop that our visitors can take away with them free of charge. The assembly department will also once again be offering passenger car kits for purchase and assembly.

The presentation of our new products at an information stand in the TILLIG mould construction department has always been a popular point of contact. Of course, we would like to continue this tradition this time. In addition to viewing the work stands of our new products, you will have the opportunity to talk shop with our product development staff and ask your questions.

Entertainment on the company yard:

Music and entertainment await you on our festival stage on the company premises. Our popular tombola (see Station N) with attractive prizes will also be on offer. Of course, your physical well-being will also be catered for with a variety of food and drink. We would not like to forget our raffle on the occasion of "30 years of TILLIG model railways", with attractive prizes in the form of goods vouchers. The entry forms are available at the information desk at the entrance.

Wagon kits:

As in the past, we again have inexpensive wagon kits on offer which, with their simplified printing, are primarily intended for our juniors: Two-axle vintage carriages, printed with a Saxony logo.

The sale will take place at a separate sales stand to the left of the stage (point T). Please understand that the number of kits that can be purchased per customer is limited to three. Pre-ordering is unfortunately not possible.
