Technical Information for layout construction
	TT uses 12 volt direct current (DC) for locomotives, 16 volt alternating current (AC) for accessories. Maximum gradient should be 3% to 4%.

Do I have to take care of my locomotives and rolling stock
	Yes! You should use soft brushes for cleaning.
	For lubricating the axles use only resin-free oil and very small amounts. For gear wheels use our gear grease part number 08973 available from your local dealer.
	All models whatever age require the same maintenance.
How can I equip my coaches with interior lighting?
	At the bogie-holder (metal-part) are at one side, two contact points to the bogie, which have to be cleaned of paint. Please then follow the instructions, which are given in the guidance notes.
I want to fit my model with a new analog decoder board. Is there anything special I have to pay attention to?
	In the course of the fast developing technical standards we use new and revised decoder boards. These new decoders boards have an integrated digital connection S compliant with the standard NEM 653 for decoder installation. Concerning the following items: item-number 396320 - for V 60 (class 106) and item-number 396390 - universal Please note that old and new decoder boards are listed with the same item numbers. So it is necessary to tell us whether you require an old or a new decoder board (at the time of ordering). The best way is to write the words "old" or "new" behind the item-number at your order. At the installation of a new digital decoder board a new frame, or the milling of the old frame is also necessary.
